Microsoft MVP are telling users that their device drivers are out of date. Guess what? I would suggest that Microsoft get on the stick and update. It’s HP’s responsibility to update their own drivers, not Microsoft’s; and it would be illegal for Microsoft to tamper with someone else’s proprietary software. My guess would be that HP is no longer supporting a device built in with driver updates and it is probably not capable of working fully in Windows Hardware doesn’t perform indefinitely with new software constantly being produced, just as new hardware and software can’t function if an old system doesn’t support it.

Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists. If this does not work then it is better to contact the manufacturer, on update on new drivers. Hope the information helps. If your computer has a switch or button, make sure it’s in the on position before using your camera.
